The Greatest By Cat Power

A few days ago I discovered Cat Power on Dorin´s blog. Beautiful music! The singer has such a wonderful voice. I´m not a specially romantic person, but this song just wants to make me stand in a room, lean at a guy and sway with him.

Cat Power
The Greatest

Once I wanted to be the greatest
No wind or waterfall could stop me
And then came the rush of the flood
The stars at night turned you to dust

Melt me down
To big black armour
Leave no trace
Of grace
Just in your honor
Lower me down
That corporate slob
Make a watch
For a space in town
For the lack of the drugs
My faith had been sleeping
Lower me down
In the end
Secure the grounds
For the later parade

Once I wanted to be the greatest
Two faced, sad little rock
When things I couldn't explain
Any feelings
Lower me down
In the end
Secure the grounds
For the lack of the drugs
My faith had been sleeping
For the later parade

Once I wanted to be the greatest
No wind or water fall could stop me
And then came the rush of the flood
The stars at night turned you to dust

Here´s a link to the live video of this one and here´s another beautiful song Sea of Love.

Should I elaborate a fantasy including Cat Power to get my picture drawn?

Sure. Why not? But don´t make things more complicated. ;) And don´t forget that it should be YOUR fantasy. Somehow I had the feeling that the Oktoberfest fantasy was only "half" your fantasy. Of course I could be completely wrong with my assumption.

But you´ll definitely get a drawing done. I just had a lot to do the past days and I first did the easier drawings.

The Oktoberfest fantasy is absolutely my fantasy because I developped it. But it's not my fantasy if you insist that I should be get a hard-on just from imagineing it.

The bicycle fantasy is rather a fantasy I would like to realize sometimes.

And the Cat Power fantasy is rather boring.

So let's take the beer jugs...

I just couldn´t imagine you in Lederhosen ;) Or would you just be the spectator?

I'm adorable in Lederhosen - even with my cock inside the pants!

Beautiful song - makes me wonder if you'd also enjoy some of Nick Drakes work - have you ever come across him?

Yesterday I remembered where I had heard this song for the first time. It was at the Asian Filmfest. I didn´t know who sang it but I´m glad that Dorin´s blog let me find out about it.

@Sarah: I hadn´t heard the name Nick Drake before. But I checked out his music and of course I do know "Pink Moon". Great song. Thanks for telling me the name. I´m off to search the video and post it here.
