Finally I´m back to doing more ideas of the 100 things project by Keri Smith, which I´m doing with Mim and Casey.
I have moved very often in my life. I think around 17 times. So I have lived in 10 different cities so far:37. List all of the places you've ever lived.
- Altenstadt, Germany
- Alwar, Rajasthan, India
- Birmingham, UK
- Kottayam, Kerala, India
- Los Angeles, USA
- Munich, Germany
- Peiting, Germany
- Schongau, Germany
- Stuttgart, Germany
- Vaterstetten, Germany

why have you moved around so much?
well, i was born here in germany. my dad was a development worker. so we moved twice to india. to learn english for the work there, my parents moved to england for a year before moving on to india.
then when we moved back here and studying, working, marrying, family growth, etc. made me move frequently.
What an interesting life! This is going to be my next 100 things project too! I like the way you've illustrated it.
I'm trying to look at the 100 ideas list, but the link is broken. Sounds interesting, could you re-link?
this is great and as usual we are in sync with out thoughts. I just went out and bought an album so that I can collate all my 100 things projects into one place ( I had them scattered all around). Love the illustrations, and fun as usual. Maybe I'll try to illustrate by homes also, but they won't be as interesting as yours!
@casey: It´s fun this project, but I keep wondering whether I forgot some places. :) I like the way Mim drew her places.
@g in berlin: Thanks for letting me know. The link should be working again. The project is a lot of fun to do.
@Mim: The pictures I drew afre famous buildings of the cities I lived at. I didn´t draw any real apartment of ours. Would have been interesting to live in a palace. :) I like the way you drew your places. Maybe I´ll do that too, to keep the memories from fading. I´m forgetting a lot of stuff from India.
Exciting places to live - well maybe not Birmingham...how did you get on with the accent?? (theirs I mean)
Actually I can´t remember a lot. I was about 2 years old. But I was impressed by the marmelade. I think that´s all I can remember. :)
Very nice project! Alas, all I'd be able to draw from my various living arrangements in the US are the different fast food joints across the country... ;)
I guess you can´t imagine how I miss those fast food joints.
