Last December there was a Pay It Forward- Game going on. You were asked to send something hand made to the first 5-7 people who left a comment on your blog. A few days ago I received two parcels... one from Switchsky and one from Ann.
Here´s what I got: a jar of Rhubarb Orange marmelade from Ann from redacted recipes. It sounds delicious and I can´t wait to try it. Check out the recipe. Thanks Ann!
And Switchsky from Same Old World knit a hat for me:
You know what? I actually hate hats. Not even during the hardest winter do I wear a head covering. So the first second I thought to myself "Oh no, all the work she put into it and I won´t wear it". But then I tried it on and SURPRISE: I like it! No.... I love it. The hat feels good, it is warm and comfy, it is soft and I like the way it looks. Fern, thank you so much for this wonderful gift. I can really use it for the next winter and I´m really surprised that I do like something I always though I´d disliked. *Hugs

Pay It Forward - One Last Box Left!
I couldn´t send off this one little box filled with candied roasted almonds. The only guy who joined the PIF-game dropped out suddenly. The box is covered with black and silver circles. It was the only design I found which wasn´t too girlish.Anybody wants to have it? There are no obligations. (You can join the game if you really want to, but there´s no need to do that.) I just need your address and off it will go.

Pay It Forward - Parcels Sent Out Today Morning!
So finally I made it! I managed to get everything ready for the pay-it-forward game for Milla, Mithi, Mim, Ann and Switchsky. I´m not sure, but I think Fabe (the only guy in the whole game) backed out when he noticed that everything should be handmade. :)
Anyway, I´m glad that I sent off the parcels today morning. Part of the content has been lying around here for some weeks. Everything is either handmade or at least designed by myself. Inside the handmade gift is a food gift. I´m not sure whether it will still taste good by the time it arrives, but it is in a Ziploc bag, so it won´t have an effect the other stuff. In case it isn´t edible anymore, just throw it out and enjoy the other stuff. Please let me know when the parcels arrive. The lady at the post office said it would take about 10 days. I hope the shipping won´t take longer with all the mail sent off for Valentine´s day.

Pay It Forward - A Little Blogging Game
Over at Mithi's blog I read about a pay-it-forward game, which she found on Milla´s blog. I´m joining in on the fun, specially as the holiday season is coming up.
Here are the rules:
"I will send a handmade gift to the first 3-5 (I think I prefer3 ;) ) people who leave a comment on my blog requesting to join this PIF exchange. I don’t know what that gift will be yet and you may not receive it tomorrow or next week, but you will receive it within 365 days, that is my promise! The only thing you have to do in return is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog."
Just comment here and wait and see what you´ll receive by mail. It´s fun making something special for someone you know - or even don´t know.
