Oscar Peterson, a Canadian jazz pianist who played with Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Parker, Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington and Nat King Cole, died yesterday, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported. He was 82. (via Bloomberg)

A: Didn´t anybody die today?
K: Well... yes. Luciano Pavarotti!
A: Who is that?
K: That was a famous singer. Want to hear something?
